SAN ANTONIO BAY

Those staying in the Bay, as it's commonly known, can enjoy a plethora of bars, restaurants and even a club or two. The most prominent is Summum, a small venue that caters for locals in winter and hosts a selection of parties in summer.

You won't find the bar-after-bar West End-type scene of the main town, but you will find a number of good value venues, ranging from aforementioned Summum to large entertainment centres with live shows, and all types of bars with live or DJ music and others with fun & games - definitely something for everyone.

The sunsets are seen almost as well as from the sunset strip in San An. Take your pick from the beach bars along the Bay: The fabulous and famous Kumharas complex (left and above) is well recommended.

Beds, prices and Nationalities

The Bay of San Antonio offers some first class and great value accommodation depending on your budget. It is a popular destination with young people and families alike, offering a quieter alternative to San Antonio, yet with almost all the variety and entertainment. There are regular connections to the main town of San Antonio, both by ferry and bus (and disco - bus in the summer clubbing season), the walk along the new promenade into town is a enjoyable alternative.

The majority of clubbers visiting San Antonio are British. Although the numbers of German, Italian and French clubbers have increased dramatically over the last few years.
